This session supports arts and humanities educators at middle and secondary schools in delivering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures content in an inclusive and meaningful way.

Using the Gallery’s collection, build on your knowledge of the diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their experiences before, during and after European colonisation and the progress towards recognition and equality.

The July workshop will feature Mirning artist and academic Ali Baker and Wiradjuri/Kamilaroi artist Jonathan Jones with focus on history, place and memory.
