Transforming Techniques - Anatomy

Flesh out your drawing practice! Develop your knowledge of the skeleton, the muscular system and its functions through anatomical objects, the galleries collection and expert artist tuition. After analysing works on paper by artists such as Hans Heysen & Robert Hannaford, Students will begin a series of anatomical drawings exploring structure, proportion and functionality. These drawings will lead to a final drawing based on a still life set up.

Students who participate in the Gallery’s workshops will have the opportunity to exhibit their works in Transforming Techniques, a SALA drawing exhibition showcasing the work of South Australian students.
