Contemporary Collectors

The support raised by becoming a Contemporary Collector directly funds acquisitions of contemporary art that dramatically enrich the Gallery’s collection. Contemporary Collectors also support exhibitions and public programs, cultivate a broader audience for contemporary art and engage potential supporters.

Since the establishment of Contemporary Collectors in 2003, the group has supported the acquisition of over 300 works of art for the permanent collection.

In recognition of their support, members are invited to a vibrant calendar of events, seminars and national and international art tours.

Benefits

In addition to general member benefits, Contemporary Collectors receive:

• invitations to exhibition previews, curator-led tours and other exclusive events
• travel opportunities to national and international art destinations and events
• invitations to social occasions in the homes of private art collectors
• preferential purchases of limited-edition works by contemporary artists

Contemporary Collectors level of support is a $500 tax-deductible annual donation plus a $60 membership fee.
