In this 60-minute workshop, join artist, Ruby Chew in the Melrose Wing and examine works of art through line, tone, and form. Learn simple warm-up techniques, build sketches using basic shapes and lines, and create a final observational drawing to take home.

Ruby Chew is a realistic, figurative painter, drawer and facilitator from Adelaide, South Australia. She is a graduate of the Adelaide Central School of Art (2010) and has also studied at the Florence Academy of Art and Central Saint Martins in London, where she was based for three years. Ruby has won numerous awards including the Helpmann Academy Travel Prize, the SALA Graduate Award and the Ruth Tuck Scholarship. She currently lives and works in Adelaide.

All skill levels are welcome, and all materials are supplied.
